How do you revive the now defunct Disney Star Wars hotel?

Turn it into a brothel
You dont! It was stupid and they overplayed their hand on Disney adults. Japan has the exact same capsule rooms for less and they get to be in japan.

>>220494892Make it a fucking hotel and not some gay LARPing experience.

This was so dystopic.
Imagine paying thousands of dollars a night for something that ISNT an all kinks served larp brothel.
>>220494892It literally looks like a youth hostel
>>220494892THEY ALREADY GUTTED IT AND TURNED IT INTO OFFICESSorry OP
>>220498208So now it is a Disney Office Experience suite. Pay $400 to sit at a desk and experience the world of Disney behind the fancy sets and animation farms. So immersive, you will feel like you are actually working for Disney as a temp (you are in a legally binding way if your work devalues Disney in some wau)

>>220494892replicate the food
>>220494892and just throw some trailers together - kids love tiny homes so why not tiny hotel rooms?
i would have went. the price did look a little absurd. surely they could have decreased it by a thousand dollars or two and kept the quality high. i've spent time at the great wolf lodge which is an immersive resort for much cheaper and got a way more kickass room plus waterpark access for 10% of the price. maybe each room could have had a dining room like lando had in cloud city since they looked pretty cramped. also make way more space porthole monitors in the rooms or maybe even that space balcony from the empire strikes back. just have it open to a closet with some high quality projectors and it wouldve been good enough. the whole hotel seemed kind of lacking in amenities so they couldve doubled the public space as well. i dont think anyone is going to the star wars hotel to larp on the star destroyer bridge but i honestly dont know what they couldve replaced it with. disney is big on technical theater shit so maybe they could have switched the star destroyer bridge to a new theme everyday so one day it's imperial next day it's the yavin base and then the hoth base with the same or different actors playing the new roles. to be honest nothing ive seen from disney about other star wars locales really feels like star wars. do they have a damn mos eisley cantina any fucking where? what about a jabba's palace? or couresant? disney world has animal kingdom too so maybe they couldve had a really damn good endor or kashykk themed area with ewoks and wookiees. imagine a roller coaster through trees like you're on one of those ewok gliders.

>>220498456That sounds pretty expensive, buddy. How about we just bus you to the compound, paint some insignia on the walls, and charge you $6000 for dyed blue shrimp?
>>220494892jar jar bink's opium den
>>220498627>>220495041I suspect there was lots of this going on. No one would be dumb enough to charge thousands a night for cots and blue shrimp unless there was another angle. My guess is the guests and staff both understood there wouldn't be a lot of oversight outside of clearly labeled 'family experience' areas and that guests were encouraged to 'talk to the characters.' Every male actor there was selling coke and every woman was selling ass. The price tag was just to make sure there wouldn't be a bunch of riff-raff in there wasting everyone's time.

Rey walks in and whips out her cock and says "this lightsaber won't polish itself m8!". Now I know ditsy riley has a bone disease or something so she can't be in every room but a few thai lady boys can fill in the gaps
>>220498951Bad news, you're just as retarded as the people who paid for the hotel.
>run at a net loss unless you charge families $6kI do hope somebody got fired for this, what an insanely retarded financial decision.
>>220495142
Recently I watched the Jenny Nicholson video about this and, as a Disney and NuStarWars despiser, it has my recommendation:https://youtu.be/T0CpOYZZZW4?si=5_HGWfFnwyxvQmRBShe's a bit too gentle but I think the problems were in the foundation: they had a bunch of very weird women employed in positions of power. So to fix this hotel you'd need to burn everything down and start by hiring competent people who are willing to work hard toward a vision. Then test it and fail and test it and fail and then finally test it and succeed. And then test everything else too. Instead, the dummies in charge seemed like they just felt good about it and therefore the audience would enjoy it. "Immersive, immersive, immersive."

>>220495119This basically. An otherwise normal Star Wars themed hotel would do megabucks at any Disney park. Unfortunately there are thousands of overpaid consultants who have to justify their salary coming up with this crap.

NO SEX IN THE PANIC ROOM
>>220494892To revive the defunct Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel, Disney must resolve its two core failure points: unsustainable pricing and zero replay value. Here is the strategic blueprint to successfully relaunch the experience:1. Change the Operating ModelDrop the cruise model: Eliminate the rigid, all-inclusive 2-night mandatory stay.Open standard booking: Allow guests to book traditional 1-night or 2-night stays.Separate the pricing: Charge a baseline room rate and sell immersive story experiences as optional add-ons.Open the restaurants: Allow day-guests from Disney's Hollywood Studios to book reservations at the Crown of Corellia Dining Room.2. Lower the Price PointTarget a realistic tier: Reduce the cost from $5,000+ per weekend to $500–$800 per night.Remove forced luxuries: Make valet parking, premium institutional dining, and mandatory merchandise optional.3. Build Direct Theme Park AccessCreate a permanent gateway: Connect the hotel physically to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge via a dedicated walking path or themed shuttle expansion.Offer premium perks: Include lightning lane access to Rise of the Resistance and Smugglers Run in the room rate.4. Implement Rotational StorylinesChange the timeline: Move away from the strict, canon-locked Sequel Trilogy era.Introduce eras: Rotate themes by season (e.g., The Clone Wars in Spring, The Original Trilogy in Fall).Gamify via app: Use the Play Disney Parks app to let guests choose their alliance (Jedi, Bounty Hunter, Smuggler) without needing 24/7 live actors.5. Repurpose the InfrastructureAdd windows: Install digital "space windows" that can switch to standard ambient outdoor lighting to reduce guest claustrophobia.Expand amenities: Add a themed pool, a larger fitness center, and an expanded outer-space lounge to match standard luxury resort expectations.

>>220502852>Add windows: Install digital "space windows" that can switch to standard ambient outdoor lighting to reduce guest claustrophobia.Didn't they have some kind of freakout room with a real window, because they built the entire compound to appear to be in outer space
