This whole season is just straight up bad. Terrible writing. Shitty characterization with characters flipflopping every other episode. Retcons like Soldier Boy loving Liberty. Inexplicably not showing shit like Soldier Boy reacting to the new Noir at all. Stilted dialog. Fighting over MacGuffins that cancel each out and ultimately settling on regressing to the season 3 status quo by giving Kimiko Soldier Boy's powers (which is stupid because we were to assume his resilient V1 was why he could withstand that radiation and not be depowering himself, and then he went and depowered Bombsight's V1 anyway, so none of this shit makes any sense). Noir dying to a folding knife when he could tank a minigun before, and the writers just forgetting he was narcoleptic and could fly. Lame cliche Frenchie death. Completely backtracking on the season 4 ending with Butcher going off on his own with the virus. Doing practically nothing with his new powers. Ryan is almost a complete no show. More failed heists where they infiltrate some Vought place and something goes wrong and they just barely escape. Incredibly claustrophobic feeling where the world doesn't exist outside a few of the same few sets used all season. Cat girl and dog guy almost getting more screen time than Hughie and Starlight who do practically nothing anymore. The list goes on and on and on. A-Train and Firecracker were the only times this even felt like the same show anymore.
