Doing something like exposing his journal was malicious, and when given the opportunity to commit a serious act of malice against Doug, he likely never considered doing it for a second.

Like, when you think about it, Doug moves to Bluffington and instantly gets attention, becomes popular, gets a best friend, even his love interest is pretty friendly and interested in hanging out with him (eventually to the point where she admits she likes hanging out with him the most.) He's ostensibly a nerd that isn't good at sports or dancing or being a leader or social interactions in general, and yet he's always coming out on top with his classmates encouraging and respecting and cheering for him.Man, fuck Doug, that motherfucker has it all. Roger tries desperately to be the one people look up to, fails, and then goes home to a trailer. I'd be pissed too.
