Watching season 1, 2 and 3 back to back again made me realize somethingOnly season 1 was goodEverything was much better. Commentary, characters, moments. Frenchie was cool, homelander was imposing, Hugie was learning, Butcher was cool. And the concept of super heroes but realistically speaking? super interesting, a lot to explore, in fact they did it much better than the comics i dare say.I wasnt crazy, thats why it hooked so much with season 1 and how i slowly lost interest as it went on.

Yeah its basically a straight up cartoon/parody of itself now. The entire atmosphere changed. Initially it was interesting because supes were like everyday employees, mascots really who were doing horrible shit out of sight. They were worried about people finding out if they did something. Everyone including the boys were trying to do things in secret. It was a cat and mouse game. Everything after the first season becomes wacky hijinks instead of the almost spy thriller thing it had going on to start
