My wife makes the same rotations of meals every week. Monday is a stir fry, Tuesday is a chicken alfredo, Wednesday is baked potatoes, Thursday is slow cooker night (maybe a roast, a stew, or something else), Friday is "breakfast night" (waffles, omelets, BLTs, etc), Saturday is spaghetti, and Sunday is usually where she tries out whatever new dish she wants to experiment on. Stuffed pork chops, Monte Cristos, etc. Most Sunday meals are... not great, but I appreciate her trying new things.Since our kids are small, we don't really go out anywhere without them. Which means a lot of parks, duck ponds, zoo visits, et cetera. It's more just about us spending time together talking and watching them play.I feel bad for modern men that don't have good wives.
