The problem isn't the post S3 characters, it's how they ruined old characters like Butcher and wasted all of their potential.

Not to mention every single version of these concepts is better than The boys. Watchmen is better than the Boys, Kingdom come is better than the boys, Injustice is better than the boys, Red Son is better than the boys... heck fucking Wanted is better than the boys. Those are all better than, what is the other called? Invincible? Yeah, those are all better than Invincible as well. It´s honestly a miracle this show lasted for like 5 seasons, which are all mostly filler anyways. People standards are really fucking low... that´s the only explanation for this having these many season.
Powers was infinitely better
The show was doomed since the S1 finale, when Butcher tried to blowup himself and the baby, but Homelander saved them both which made no fucking sense.
