When was the last time you've watched a movie and thought you were really witnessing something special and profound, a true cinematic masterpiece?

For me it was Drive (2011).
Nothing since.

Good Time (2017) for me. Uncut Gems was also solid but not a masterpiece on the same level imo.

For me Marty Supreme is better than both. Good time was also amazing but what chalamet does with the character is above and beyond imo

I liked the last mission impossible, an immense amount of occult imagery and it's very anti Muslim, watching it made me think, "am I the minotaur?"

Enter the Void on shrooms. watched it again sober recently and it's just nonsense.

>I liked the last mission impossible
Possibly the worst take I've ever seen on this board.
I would tell you to go back, but even Redditors wouldn't say they liked that movie.

Superman '25/The Batman. It felt like capeslop could finally go back to being films and not just yearly slop content for a failing streaming service. (I have to remind everyone that Disney+ numbers are greatly exaggerated and bloated because in order to watch Cricket sports in India you MUST sign up for Disney+. It's so bad that they're trying to bundle Hulu/HBO Max with Disney+ to get people to watch their garbage)

>>220521883
It was ok.

>>220521978
This was really fucking good.

>>220521983
Ainte seent it but heard it's good.

>>220522504
Ain'te Seent Marty but it's in my queue.

>>220522525
Yikes. Would get a hair job form her tho.

>>220523503
It was ok.

>>220525008
It was good but held back by Zenmuttya.

>>220525046
Haven't seen the latest one but the one before was surprisingly good.

>>220525108
This was good.

If you enjoyed that one, don't watch the last one, it's fucking terrible.

i went to the theater alone to watch this and there was a cop posted outside and i remember thinking hes probably keeping a note of me in the back of his mind
>>
>>220525412
What's so bad about it without doing spoilers? I juat wanna see it cus of the up blouse nipples of the Asian chick.

>>220525420
Joker is also one of the kinks I remember thinking "wow, DC is healing. We can finally move away from Cinematic Universe garbage."

I will NEVER watch the Lady Caca vanity project sequel.

>>220525108
Climax is way better, no drugs needed

Everything is ridiculous and not in a good, fun exciting way, more of a pants of head absolutely retarded way, like yeah, he couldn't do that, he would die kind of way. It has the laziest, shittiest writing of the entire franchise.
I, like you, liked the previous movie a lot and I found the last one genuinely appalling.
>>
I refuse to tell you because of all the brownoids that started liking drive
