/tv/ said this movie was >reddit >contrived >forgettable >stupid >riddled with plot holes >terribleYet here we are in week 8 and it’s still outperforming most other films in theaters. Care to explain, /tv/? You’re all so smart and so above it all…I’m just shocked you’d be so wrong
>>220526905>look /tv/, midwits and redditors like to watch midwit redditor slop. checkmate!
LOL>Let's go watch Project Hail Mary together>Look at all these empty seats, where should we 3 sit?>Well obviously we should sit in the very front row, close to the wall >That way we can watch the movie from a distorted angle, looking up and and to our left the whole timeI mean I guess if you're not really going to be paying attention then it's fine
>>220527025I went to see one of the LotR movies with my dad and a friend (I want to say Two Towers, but I can't remember for sure) and wound up sitting in I believe those very same front row, three on the end, seats. Absolutely abysmal experience, I have no idea why anybody would pick those seats by choice, unless this theater has much more generous spacing between the front row and the screen than the theater I went to.
>>220526905It’s hopeful, and that’s all people want. Hope. /tv/irgins don’t like that because they have no hope.
>>220527098Restaurant/theater combos tend to have bigger auditoriums with better seats
>>220527025>>220527098I once picked the front row just to get away from the noisy kids in the middle. That was the last time I watched an all-ages movie in the theater. Since then I have made it a point to only buy tickets if it's an 18+ movie.
