Just finished pic rel and I'm surprised about how many people are so wrong about it.

Most mysteries got solved, but the characters were the main focus since the first season, thus making the ending satisfying unlike many claim.

In my opinion seasons 3 & 4 were the best ones, while season 5 was the weakest. I did like season 6, it had some great episodes such as Dr. Linus or Ab Aeterno.

Definitely one of the greatest TV shows ever, and no, I'm not ragebating.

First two seasons are the greatest television ever. It goes to shit after that
>>
Why is s1 so good but has to be the same amount of filler
>>
they clearly didn't have a plan. Jack says a millennia-old skellington died a few decades.ago. writers tried to be all cute saying that he's a spinal surgeon, not some sort of bone doctor. they can fuck right off.

Thank you, friend

No it doesn't and season two is one of the weakest because of the filler and painfully slow pacing.
>>220534042
It has plenty of kino moments, but as you say, not all the flashbacks are really good. That's why I think the fourth season is the best one, each flashforward was thrilling.

Who cares? They tied up everything in the end. Planned or not, they made their promise.
>>
>>220534097
God, shut up. There's no way you aren't some old ass Lost apologist with this rhetoric. Stitching together half-assed "answers" to fill a quota is not satisfying.

>they didn't solve things like i wanted to!
Grow up already. I can make fun of the obvious bait the show throwed at the audience here and there, but it paid off.

me. he's explained his mystery box style writing. i prefer a whodunnit where there are clues and the killer is revealed. i enjoyed Lost but they didn't tie everything up at all.

Which question didn't get solved?

In hindsight I stopped caring about most of it when Ana Lucia died.

That scene remains as one of the most shocking ones to ever get aired on TV
>>
>>220534764
unfortunately they dropped the walt plotline completely so it was all pointless
>>
MMM WHATCHA SAY
>>
>>220534064
They also said the skeleton's clothes were made from magic material or some shit which is why it hadn't disintegrated.
>>
>>220534769
Not really. The epilogue and Miles' character (as well as Hugo's) kinda explain Walt's powers. I also loved Michael's arc during season four.

that only happened because people asked what happened to walt for loike the last 5 seasons or however long it was
you know he was supposed to a full series throughline and not just disappear completely, right? they just cut all that because the actor grew up too fast, even though nobody would've even given a shit about that
>>
>>220534840
Yeah, I'm aware that the process of making the series was really chaotic, not only because of what you said, but also due to plenty of the actors' contracts or the writers' strike. I'm not trying to argue that the entire thing was planned from the very beginning, I'm just saying that the whole show makes sense in retrospective, despite the complications.

You may be talking about something else, not Lost, chief
>>
>>220534875
sure it makes sense, and I don't think they were all dead the whole time, and all that, yes yes
my point was ana lucia died and that sucked, and the drama of that "iconic" moment where michael shoots her and libby was deflated completely because it was all part of the walt plotline, which was axed entirely from the show
>>
>>220534910
I understand your complaint. I remember expecting Michael to show up at any moment during season three and never happening. Although Walt did, and it's one of my favorite scenes of the show:
