1. Tell me a great movie I've never seen.
2. Explain to me WHY I've never seen it.
3. Explain to me why I SHOULD see it.

1. Owning Mahowny:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeU7015Mw1w

2. It's Canadian.
>only made $1 million at the box office vs a $10 million budget
>weird title that tells you nothing
>terrible poster that tells you nothing
>based on IRL dude and events, (but names changed to protect the not-so-innocent), so superficially sounds too boringly biographical

3. Two words: Philip Seymour Hoffman
>one of his best character roles he truly disappears into
>John Hurt is pretty cool too as usual
>film is the very definition of 'comfy'
>excellent film about gambling addiction
>title is a reference to the casinos wanting to 'own' their high-rollers and the lengths they will go to

Mahowny is a highly trusted but gambling addicted banker, who is a relatively young rising star with his bank, managing massive corporate clients and writing himself cheques in their name to take to Atlantic City on the weekends. Epic comfiness ensues.

I'm pretty sure using the word 'ghey' automatically makes you gay.
