I don't really get what the point of this movie was. It'd be one thing if the survivors all died because of their own mistakes but the handful of people that do manage to get to the boat still die anyways. Are there any good zombie movies?

>>220539824If you want a “point”, I’d say it’s about the inevitability of death.Much like how the characters in thus movie held their own for months in their mall fortress, and made their plans, it meant ass-all by the time the credits rolled.Just like how you can hold off death for a good long while by eating healthy, exercising, not smoking/drinking/drugging/etc, and while it will help you live a longer, more fulfilled life, it’s still a guarantee that your ticket is going to eventually get punched by a cancer diagnosis, dementia, disease, act of god, or a random drunk driver that you just happened to have the unfortunate timing to cross paths with.

Recently rewatched it. It was a lot more kino than I thought it'd be, holds up really well. Unlike"World War Z", which is a very badly paced Pitt sloppa.
