>>220540477The Larry character from CYE has almost nothing in common with George from Seinfeld. The "George was Larry" was just a joke in CYE to feed the Jason Alexander vs Larry rivalry. Some of Larry's own stories were written into the show for George, that's all.

Jason Alexander as an actor interrupted the writing and put his own spin on it, but George is neurotic, selfish, a bad liar, always getting in the middle of misunderstandings that he himself has caused, loves sports, is best friends with Jerry Seinfeld and helps him write the show within the show. All things he shares with his the Larry counterpart in Curb. It’s been very clearly documented and said many times by the cast and crew of Seinfeld that George is Larry’s self insert and that the whole idea for the show came from him and Jerry just being bros.
