Compared to now it was a paradise But at the time, life was pretty good, America was hitting a peak, so the smallest negative thing stood out so hard.
I was only a child in the 90s, but I found it pretty stressful at school. When I say child, I mean like, I turned 13 in 2001, so my entire childhood was the 90s. Kids were absolute fucking assholes. Lots of really bad parenting and little drugged up faggots and rampant bullying/peer pressure. I will say that toys and entertainment were absolutely peak, but almost everything cool about the 90s was reserved for people at least a decade older than me.
