One hour and 45 minutes of some people having a conniption about something that never even happened and was clearly something stemming from teenage angst that a grown adult clearly has grown out of. Amazing.
Sounds like an adaptation of an average /tv/ thread.
>>220544645The entire movie felt like a build up to something big but it just fizzles out into 'told ya, now let's sart over'
>>220544686Twitter argument*
>>220544645ME OWN WIFE, A FOOKIN INCEL
>>220545102No difference at this point.
>>220544645>plan a mass shooting because no tall white boyfriend
>>220544645It almost did happen, though. Some other guy shot the school up before she did.
>>220545491TFW someone sings you song at the talent show right before you are about to go on
>>220544645Yeah, I didn't get the controversy either. What were her friends so pissed about, when they did way worse stuff and she didn't actually do anything? Wouldn't people have just said "see a therapist" and leave it at that?
What went through spiderman's mind when he saw this?
>>220545616Well, yes.
>>220545694Zendaya wouldn't do it for me either
Moral of the story is just don't get married.
>>220545675You are retarded and with low media literacy. It’s essentially a morality play. Everyone did fucked up things and made judgements of others. Film was absolute kino and you were filtered.
>>220544645It's from the same guy who did Dream Scenario. He's a pretentious retard who can't write an ending to save his life.

>>220544645I saw xitter women having a melty and pretending this was heckin' sexist so maybe it's good
The average millennial would hear this big secret and be like, yeah, understandable. This movie was so retarded.
>>220544645The premise of the movie is a Hollywood rejection of cancel culture, basically. The person who thought a bad thing is being actively cancelled by her former friend, and her boyfriend is tormented about whether he should stay with her or not, just because of something she thought of but never actually did.In the end, he still loves her despite it all. The film posits that somebody having thoughts or opinions that you virulently disagree with shouldn't be an impediment to loving them for who they actually are and what they've actually done, which is why I'm stunned that this board hasn't picked up on the meaning yet
>>220548968We know what the movie is about. The premise is just really bad. No 90s child would freak out over hearing someone admit this.
>>220549080This is the problem. It's so insultingly obvious to the viewer that it basically makes you wish you hadn't watched such a poorly thought out script that really, truly believed it was slick.
>>220546389I thought the ending was quite good and very sweet.
