Every single one of the hundreds I have known cope with their shitty hours and work tempo with drugs and alcohol and most cannot live without one or both before they finish their apprenticeships and their entire personalities revolve around the meme of being a 'vet'.I have known a few cunty pastry chefs, by and large though, working with the same people at odd hours and having to cooperate necessitates a certain level of decorum that is just absent in chef run kitchens. Most of them have no fucking idea WHERE their bullshit even comes from and just assume acting like a cunt is mandated by the industry.This is aside of all the cooks and hands that are ex felons and dead beats.
