The plane scene is one of the pinnacles in all of cinema, but the rest of the movie is pretty bad. It's really dumb and really boring. Horrendous pacing. Bane is a lot of fun, but that's almost entirely because of Hardy's performance, not the script.

It has a lot of problems, but imo it's overall a solid film. People give it shit rightly for plenty of reasons, but I enjoy the score and I think it does a good job of resolving the themes presented in the first two films. Bane makes an excellent foil for Bats.

While I do enjoy it it was also the film that solidified it for me that Nolan is a hack. Haven't watched any of his flicks since.
