I watched it. Definitely not as good as the Denzel version. The original plot was relatively believable, new version, not so much.

Absolutely pointless. The main character is written way worse than in the movie (plus that guy is not great), the stakes are so high in comparison that no main character can be anywhere close to grounded. It's generic operator slop and I dropped it somewhere in ep2.
