I watched this like 5 years ago but remember literally nothing about it at all. Why are some movies just utterly forgettable? Like someone could ask pointed questions and despite sitting there paying attention the whole time its just completely unmemorable

I watched The Lone Ranger and it couldn't have been too long after I saw Super 8 and I can remember a ton from that movie even though I only saw it once as well. I remember generally liking both but I couldn't tell you shitall about Super 8's setpieces, plot or even the premise.
