You guys watched any mediocre movies recently?I watched this Varsity Blues from 1999 with Dawson's Creek boy. It was weird and not very good but entertaining enough. It wasn't quite sure whether it wanted to be a serious drama, a comedy, or a coming of age movie. It had that guy from Fast & Furious who died in a car crash.
John Voight plays this hardass coach that pushes the players too hard and they get injured and shit. They stage a little insurrection against him but it doesn't work dramatically and it's hard to take seriously. Just not fleshed out enough.
This hot chick is all over Dawson's Creek guy, she's very, very attractive
Probably the scene that made the whole thing worthwhile is where she puts whipped cream on herself to try and seduce him. He chickens out and goes running back to the much less attractive girl who hates him
This is his girlfriend. She treats him like a dog the whole time and he loves her for it. It is the most baffling shit. I guess this part was for the women watchingAnyway, have you watched something recently? Do you have a screenshot and something to say about it
last night i watched a movie about bettie page, it was meh. i was entertained but thats it. at least i didnt feel insulted.
>>220557546Sentimental Values. Very middle of the road. Only watched because people were praising this shit as best movie of the year (2025). Nothing special whatsoever, as it turns out.
Watched the first Police Academy movie. It's all right, but I can't believe they made seven of these fucking things. Shout-out to Leslie Easterbrook's tits, though.

Feels like I've only seen mediocre films lately. Think I'm all movie'd out
>>220558219Alot of 80s comedies and horror films aged horribly. I think they only persisted as a the internet wasn't a thing so there were no other ways to see memes and titties
