Worst game. Greatest game story.
>>
I've gotten more out of it each time I've watched it. I think being more familiar with his non-AVGN work also helps to appreciate the movie. On the other side of the street each time I watch Space Cop my desire to see Mike get his just rewards increases.

The movie sucks but James knows it and he still got to accomplish his dream of making a movie. I won't clown on him for trying too hard.
>>
>>220562052
Why did he sell his soul to Screenwave? Was it worth it?
>>
>>220562052
The movie was over the moment he had to review a fake game, and not the actual E.T one. This is a parody of the AVGN, not the actual AVGN.

Stunlocked in 2018 award.

>Has a loving wife and kids
>Phones in AVGN once a month and just chills otherwise
>Hasn't pissed himself or gotten into a confrontation with a bus driver in like 30 years

Yup, it was worth it

critics rarely make good creatives

This is usually a retarded thing to say, but it's extra retarded in this case.

sorry lil bro but will never create anything

He outsourced to USA nerds
>>
did he have to play the lead?
he's a performer not an actor, so maybe getting an actor would have helped
>>
It just doesn't make any sense. All he had to do was something akin to a Board James style horror movie with AVGN and he would have avoided the whole problem that comes with this movie. There was no reason to fuck it up that badly when it was fully within his grasp to do something people would have at least appreciated to some extent.

It makes perfect sense if you don't deliberately pretend to not acknowledge the facts on the ground.
>>
>>220562052
He should have just made a slasher flick and he makes some small guest appearance as a shop owner telling kids to avoid the spooky abandoned mansion

>the facts on the ground
I don't know what the facts on the ground are because I don't know all the details of him or the movie.

James was always a creator first and a critic second, and he is far superior as the former. If you watch AVGN for in-depth critiques, you don't get the character. Monster Madness is comfy, but hardly high effort or insightful.

>James was always a creator first
true, but his problem was always his failure to know his limitations and evolve from there
