Who's the better charmer? Columbo has top tier flattery skills, but Poirot's presentation and etiquette are second to none.
You know whats unrealistic in Poirot? Most of the random characters like him, you'd expect atleast half of them to not stand listening to a porky effeminate middleaged french poof
Columbo has more range and better psychology. Poirot crashes out when he encounters an obstacle and requires DEM to fish him out.
>>220564232He's BELGIAN
That feel when tried re-watching Poirot during the lockdown. I failed. The intro is pure kino though.
>>220564268thats a made-up concept. There's no such thing.
Miss marple moggs both
Both are pure kino but nothing can beat Poirot.David Suchet is more Poirot than Arnold is the Terminator. He's that iconic.
>>220564268that's even worse
>>220564232He's usually very polite, there's no reason to dislike him.
Columbo, because he has that working class aspect of his delivery, whereas Poirot would come off as kind of snooty. OTOH, once the cuffs are on, you'd have more contempt for Colombo, because of the vary same fact of his disarming nature, whereas Poirot, snootily pretentious or not, would have always kept his distance.
