Is Hank Shrader using the same gun against Tuco that Vito used to kill Jackie Jr in the Sopranos? The muzzle doesn't kick back at all, and it has atleast 20 bullets in the magazine.

That’s because it’s blank firing and/or CGI’d, go shoot some guns or watch some videos online you’ll notice muzzle flashes are really only notable at night or in slow motion. Same thing with shell ejection and bolt/slide moment, in real time it’s almost impossible to tell the action is cycling because of how fast it is. A lot of movie companies that use blanks/live rounds will use lower lighting conditions and slow the footage to show the muzzle flashes and shells ejecting for gun porn points, that scene from True Detective with the AKM is a good example. (The GIF is too large to post here so I settled with this one instead)
