Can the industry apologize for this garbage mixing style now that subtitling jobs have been taken over by AI?

This is why i actually hate classical music. Did people in the 1700s actually enjoy sonic jumpscares? Oooh its quiet... what's that little wheedle i can't even hear it let turn the volume up (lean in, i guess at the time)...
>BAA BAA BAM
ohoho! jolly good show. No, fuck off with your cringe 'dynamics'
>>
they give the jobs to amateur DEI hires. what did you expect? you voted for this.

I only ever hear unintelligibly quiet dialog in English-language movies. In every other language, the mixing seems to be normal.

I'm interested. Will you care to open up your initially attractive but too cryptic op? What do you mean? That AI dubs voice over without considering prior loudness and compression and ends up fucking the score? Sorry if I'm dumbdumb
>>
AI dubbing is coming along very nicely too
they've managed to get the thing to mimic the voice now

It can mean whatever you want, but the only explanation I have for audio mixing ever getting this bad is offering job security for closed captioners.

Have you ever been to a live performance of classical music? It actually feels right because you're not sticking the damn orchestra inside your ears.
>>
who cares? movies are for literal faggots and whores

As an ESL I really fucking hate watching modern movies without subs, the actors all fucking whisper and the audio mixing is awful.
Can native speakers even hear and follow the conversations when they just whisper?
>>
is there a reason they don't compress?
>>

the audio is mixed for a live theater experience, where louder parts are louder to create startle and emphasis. It works really well in a big theater viewing but it's jarring when you're watching it with headphones on your laptop

I didn't know Rick Rubin got into mixing movies

The sort of retard who would watch a dub (of anything) is the sort of person I'd expect to be pleased consuming AI content
>>
>>220571848
the loudness war never stopped, it just moved into movies

>Can native speakers even hear and follow the conversations when they just whisper?
Yes, but we don't understand or hear every word
>>
>rush into enemy team
>die
>respawn
>repeat ad infinitum
why
