The ending is a reshoot mess, and it feels unfinished and disjointed, but I think In the Lost Lands is underrated. A 4.7/10 on IMDB feels undeservedly harsh. This is allegedly one of the few GRRM adaptations that George actually likes. The film has a strange, melancholy vibe that lingers. It feels like a film that, if it came out in the 80s, would be a cult classic today. It's filled with striking, memorable images. It feels driven by dream logic.
