Watching this movie right now. I am surprised at how good the production is. It doesn’t feel cheap and looks like a lot of effort went to it. Ignore the ratings and whatever. It is a good movie and better than Dune 1-2. Really enjoying it.
Better than dune, story wise? Bai ling is hot snack so I'll watch sometime.

>>220573301Dune 1-2 feels so “fake.” Just because it was expensive to make and all that doesn’t make it, nothing felt grounded about it and it was clearly made just to produce profits. This Gene Generation doesn’t feel like that. It feels like a lot of effort and someone’s passion projects where everything was put together well. The setting and sci-fi punk atmosphere is cool and realistic without trying too hard.
