Why was it so mid? >inb4 every fault is due to the black people

"mid" is being very generous. It was terrible
>ignore the accomplishments of 99.99% white air forcemuh heckin' niggerino pilots saved the werdstar!
some things are hard to capture on filmit's easy to symphatize with the infantrymen in easy company bc you get to know them and can imagine what they're going throughthe tens or hundreds of masked aerial operators mumbling in their masks doesn't have the same effect.barry keoghan crashing was the most memorable moment, bc you atleast kinda felt connected to the character by that point.but the rest of them just dying en masse every operation doesn't just feel like anything.they should've picked one or two crews and gotten more close and personal.
>>220573677The first 3-4 episodes were quite serviceable. The actors weren't bad. However the bizzare sideplots like with the female spy that went literally nowhere, and the episode about the tuskegee airmen seemed like they were just ticking boxes. I enjoyed Redtails more than this. Conceptually it was terrible. They were never 'Masters'. I thought in the second part of the series they would focus on the actual masters like Messerschmidt and Spitfire, Hurricane and Mustang pilots. Instead we get half the show about being POWs in Stalag 13 or other ground sideplots. Not enough air-time... Terrible bait and switch.
Should have picked this for an adaptation. And it has actual Red Tails in it (the author is definitely not a negro-lover but he's sure favorable of how RTs did their job).
