Will it be shit? I'm actually pretty hyped for it.

Isn't that the guy who directed Ready Player One? It's probably going to be shit.
>>
>>220576700
>Speilberg
>Isn't that the guy who..
It's fucking Speilberg.
>>
>>220576713
>Dir: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Yeah, that's gonna be a yikes from me
>>
>>220576713
This. He's the director of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, he's a legend
>>
>>220576713
>It's fucking Speilberg
No, doesn't ring a bell. What did he direct?
>>

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Ready Player One was based on a YA novel.
I don't see how Spielberg could have salvaged it. If anything, it's watchable unlike say the last Transformers film.
>>
>>220576713
he's a hack desu
>>
>>220576669
could go either way spielberg is pretty inconsistent
im not really looking forwars to it or anything but ill probably watxh it when a decent rip is out
>>
>>220576922
He has been pretty bad for the last like 20 years. Like Ridley Scott, he's just coasting on his success from decades ago but he doesn't have the same ability or vision as he used to and he's just old and tired going through the motions and cashing in on his name.
>>

It's a solid paycheck for all of them and they get to do practically nothing

>get storyboard people to storyboard everything 50 times over
>pick whatever looks best
>DoP sets everything up
>roll cameras
>have the assistants check if the footage is enough for post
>have editors and post crew tinker with stuff until it looks presentable

back in the day a director would have to be more hands-on since it was all practical shit that had to work in a few takes in front of a camera unless it's a talky scene (then they could do many takes), but everything generally would have to be micromanaged by a director because it had to be done then and there.
Now it's all just "good enough" so it can be tinkered with later.

Drumpf's fake alien disclosure was obviously a part of a marketing campaign for this movie and nobody realized which is pretty hilarious.
>>
Wtf is currentl happeing?

>actual files reelased from the gov
>the bigegst ufo movie since CEotTK
>actual whistleblowers out the wazoo
>Trump posting AI grey pics
>japan ready to release their fles

Ufo shit has never been hotter than now.

Predictive programming they’re going to fake an alien invasion à la Watchmen
>>
>>220577404
yet theres still no clear hd video of anything genuinely unidentifyable
>>
>>220577035
Yep, he's likely not even directing this, they are just using his name and he shows up on set to yell cut a few time and then gets paid tens of millions. He's just living on easy street until he dies now.
>>
>>220576669
>when the entire point of your poster design is hiding her bogged-to-hell face
Why not just cast someone else at this point?
>>
>>220577404
It's distraction from the actual things that matter.
>>
>>220576669
I’m thinking kino.
>>
>>220576669
Probably. I don't even think Spielberg has actually directed a movie himself in ages.
>>
>>220576669
>The plot centers on a global revelation regarding the potential existence of extraterrestrial life and a threat to release classified government material.

could not give a shit really could not care less but it's a little wierd it is releasing in synchronous with a whitehourse deflection campaign on the same theme (aayys for tarded skitzos)
>>
>>220576669
>I'm actually pretty hyped for it.
Why? It looks terrible
>>
>>220576840
You're a YA novel.
>>
>>220576713
If he tapped into classic Spielberg, then it has the potential to be awesome. If he's still stuck in modern-Spielberg, then it's going to really suck.

>>220576823
Jurassic Park 1 and 2
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Saving Private Ryan
Jaws
ET
War of the Worlds remake with Tom Cruise
The first four Indiana Jones movies

I have Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway fatigue. Their overly botoxed faces are distracting to look at and it inhibits their abilities to act.
>>
>>220580352
Emily Blunt is the Hollywood queen of "one single facial expression." I don't get how she got as far in the industry as she has. Hathaway can act. She's just a raging liberal retard.
>>
What do you think will be the reason for the aliens coming to Earth?

>>220580525
Logically there's no reason to come at all unless they have needs and they need to engage in resource-harvesting. When considering all the stories of butt-probes and alien medical experiments, human organic matter and maybe even DNA itself are worth making the massive trip for.

distraction from epstein files
>>
>>220576713
oh shit, the director of The BFG made this?
>>
I hope it will turn out to secretly be an ad for some meme coin or microchip campaign
>>
>>220580588
"the trip" is only "massive" if you think they're using rockets or whatever.
>>
>>220576713
hasn't made a good movie in like over 25 years
