My little sister told me to watch this old ass UNC movie tonight. What did she mean by this?
>>
It's good. Your sister has excellent taste in films.

Only God can be truly omniscient. He thinks because of his advanced technology he knows everything but the final act reveals he actually didn't know enough to be prescient. The last image we see is a man who realizes he is truly powerless and now he is content for the first time in the movie, at ease in his home playing the saxophone
>>
is she single?
>>
If that's true then I want to date you sister.

>>220579024
Nah he's playing it for the people bugging him anon. You missed he whole point.
>>

I think you missed the bigger point being made in the movie. The protagonist has racked up years of guilt over his eavesdropping work and how he could have prevented the death of people he was contracted to surveil but didn't. Then it happens again even though he DID try and do something about it. It's revealed not only was he powerless to change the outcomes despite his knowledge, he was also misled from the beginning on what he knew.

fun fact did you know when you use the defauls in chrome or edge your cloud spellechercker logs every post you make here in a datacentre.

The conversation was on the mark. Rip gene hackman, he gave us kino again and again, french connecttion, unforgiven and check out Prime Cut which is fucking excellent with him in full villian mode

Hung by his own noose is more the point but yes he is playing for the people bugging him
>>
>>220577328
she's got taste, she taken?
>>
>>220579367
I think that's a shallow take and focuses too much on the bugging aspect of the movie rather than the main themes at play. Yes he was bugged and he immediately wanted control back, eve going as far as stripping his walls bare and praying up floor boards. Eventually he gives up and starts playing the sax. He knows they are listening but oddly he's content finally. He knows he never really had control to begin with and he can let go of the guilt he's carried for years.

Sounds like the beginning of a Penthouse forum. Erotic fanfiction.

Many /tv/ anons do wish they had little sisters who were into kino. Weird phenomena but I understand.
