George and Mandy's first marriage. I used to think it's pure slop cringe but recently I saw some youtube shorts where they edited out the laugh track and put on dramatic music and wow this show is actually well written without the jokes. A well to do young man marries a little ho, trying to make the best of it and she destroys it as he finds himself. Makes me wonder about Young Sheldon as well. If you minus out the cringe sheldon parts, meemaw, george and mary are good actors delivering a nice story about a working class family. The scene where George tells Mary he's not happy about having to marry her and tells her don't pretend you're happy how your life worked out is surprisingly powerful. Just wrapped in a shitty (SHITTY) shitcom from the retard who made 2 and a half fags.
