Shakespere isnt feted for no reason, his influence on the english language and his play writing ability is warranted, he covered the main bases of history, comedy, tragedy, romance, and did it with a introspection of the human condition that still resonates today, featuring many distinct characters. Thats why actors love it, i think the language is something to also get your head around compared to most modern english plays, its fun to get into character and live through voices that far from the past that remain intelligible and still in sync with the modern passage of time, albeit grammatically a bit more removed from how people speak.
