Fracture is an underrated example of how to write a smart character. And you get the benefit of Hopkins, Gooseman, and Pike in one movie.

>>220579302Off the top of my head when he's getting arrested the officer conveniently puts down his weapon and walks off allowing Hopkins to switch their weapons so that the officer then holsters the murder gun which was originally his gun which Hopkins stole somehow knowing that he'd have the opportunity to switch them back again. Also sure is lucky that absolutely nobody else besides said officer was there to hear Hopkins' confession to his wife's murder thus making it inadmissable.It's also funny that Hopkins freely confesses at the end to his wife's murder because double jeopardy would keep him safe even though double jeopardy would not apply.
