>>220582290They work imaginary jobs which is a staple of every globohomo movies. People who script and direct it come from wealthy families and have no idea what life is actually like, they can't picture a shitskin without him being attached to a fast food box.

my wedding cost only like $10k
>>220584930How the fuck does it cost that much in the first place? You say it like it's nothing but that's a lot of money to blow on some vows and a bit of food.
>>220583660 Pattinson's character had great self-restraint not to fuck her when she was so ready for it at work
>>220584969i double checked my excel file and it was only $6800, i spent about the same on the honeymoon where I immediately impregnated herbiggest costs are the venue, catering, alcohol and flowers. there's also chair rentals, other decorations, wedding dresses/tuxes, photographer, etc.my wedding is actually much cheaper than average in america. if you don't do a courthouse wedding then if you actually formally rent a place for weddings you're at a minimum dropping thousands, I actually got a massive deal on the venue, usually you'd spend many thousands more on it
>>220583768everyday i am so thankful i come from a family of rich boomers because I would be so unbelievably fucked if I didnt.
>>220582290Pattinson was some kind of museum curator with subordinates and probably made a good salary, Zendaya is working some kind of entry level editor role in a publishing house and is also making money.
>>220583660>>220583689Lynchian
>>220582290 What was his fucking problem?
>>220584969My wedding was similarly expensive and that's on the low end of a legit wedding. The biggest cost is renting the venue and paying for the meal & bar per guest, then you have the flower arrangements, DJ and/or live performers and whatever other bullshit you want to pay during the cocktail hour. Photographers are also super expensive and you're better off just asking a family member or guest who's into photography to take a couple shots for you. Also you don't really need to go into debt unless both of your families are trailer trash. Most people these days will just send you money instead of useless wedding gifts, we only had to pay like 1/3 of the whole cost because of wedding contributions by our family and friends.

>>220584969do the math for me real quick how much it would cost to buy dinner for a hundred people
I liked the scene in the Mummy where the girl destroys the Egyptian library on accident, and I wonder to myself how you can get these amazing jobs where you are in a major library or museum in real life, and then it is revealed her parents were rich donors.Ultimately, most of us aren't blessed enough to get these cushy and interesting gigs.I still think about the article where some guy missed a few credits that stopped him from getting his film degree, he broke into the industry anyway, and the dean invited him back to the school and was willing to give him the degree if he helped get the dean's script produced.
