>writes retarted unrealistic diauloge that sounds like what an autistic person thinks small talk is

>inserts his fetishes into random scenes
>gets called a genius

Tarantino and Joss Whedon ruined dialogue.

He’s just a fucking genius, alright? Just like the doctor in Season 2 episode 14 on Mash. You seee that crazy reference? This isn’t just a movie alright, it’s pop culture 101. It’s cool, it’s hip. I watched black men fucking my mom and it was cool, man, one time Jerome left his Kangol hat on our sofa and that was it, it was my hat now, I was blessed with an African artifact, man, alright?

His audience is next level retard.
I had a conversation with a dude who absolutely loved Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and I asked him a question about Sharon Tate. He said "Sharon who?"
>>
>>220586995
he's a black man trapped inside a white man's body

Half the dialogue is ripped off from random 70s slop too

>claims his mom was a whore who fucked hundreds of black men to excuse his obvious wish to be black that comes from spending his childhood sitting at home watching blaxploitation movies
You can tell he's full of shit and has never actually spent time around actual black men by the way he talked in that interview.

Always gave me the vibe of a particularly extreme closet case.

How is the latter more embarrassing than the former
>>
>>220588516
It's just stupid for him to pretend he totally went to black schools and spent all his time around black men as a kid when he's obviously full of shit and only knows how black people act in blaxploitation.
>>

You're a nigger and you smell. Before Tarantino no one wrote dialogue like that. He literally changed how movies are written. Zoomers grew up on those movies that were influenced by him and now they don't recognize him as anything special.

His dialogue for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was really good actually, a big improvement over his usual juvenile rambling nonsense
>>
>>220587021
Not my problem. Once Upon is his greatest kino since Jackie Brown. Also Death Proof is underrated as hell.

Los Angeles blacks are not the same as South blacks, Midwest blacks, or Harlem blacks.

yeah because the writing was good and now its shit, this isn't really a good argument.

And no blacks are like Tarantino black.

yeah, I agree with this. Up until the mid 60s movies tended towards "stage dialog" which usually comes across as forced and over dramatic. From the late 60s through the 80s, they tended toward realistic dialog. Beginning in the 90s they tend towards "cool" dialog like Tarantino or quirk chungus dialog like Whedon, and none of it is realistic or good.

And yes, this is a generalizations, there are obviously exceptions in all eras.
