Plasma TV>>>>LED>>>>LCD
>>220595302plasmas weren't even 100 nits at its peak. oled is superior tech.
>>220595331>>220595302Laser Projector > Plasma > CRT > OLED > LED > LCD
I had to help a guy move a plasma screen once.He didn't even want it but because it was so expensive he couldn't bring himself to just trash it. Problem with that is nobody else wanted to buy it, in part because it was so expensive, not to mention cumbersome and prone to overheating.I guess it's better than a CRT though.
>be Plasma TV>Each pixel is controlled by some sort of gas magic that requires no backlight>Great color because of the gas intensity>Zero motion blur unlike OLED>Zero pixel glow unlike OLED>Every viewing angle looks good>>220595441If you have it in an air conditioned room and you actual dust it would last you years and years. I still remember going to a friend's house with my DVD of Kubrick's the Killing. We played it on his Blu-ray player and the upscaling and black and white nature made it look like HD and quite possibly one of the best things I've ever seen. The grain was just perfect.
>>220595302How did you ignore the "purple snakes" on Plasma? It's a gorillion times worse than the rainbow effect on a DLP projector.
>>220595463>>Zero motion blur unlike OLED>>Zero pixel glow unlike OLEDThese don't happen btw
>>220595331Horse shit. Plasmas have outstanding contrast. They also have zero motion blur, making them the best panel you can possibly get to this day.>>220595468What on earth are you talking about?>>220595483Yes they do.
I bought my mom an OLED tv and the thing kept turning itself off to repair pixels but my mom kept turning it on
>>220595837Holy based
I used to love going to the TV section and standing in front of the plasmas during winter.
>tfw still using my Panasonic plasma as my main TV and kino viewing screenFeels good being right.
>>220595463>The grain was just perfect.kill yourself, now.

>>220595302Just got a new 43 inch 4k Samsung after I drunkenly stumbled into my last tv smashing the screen completely. £230. Quite happy with it lads
>>220595302The only issue with my plasma tv is it's 768p. Nd that it's zoomed in. The remote broke so i'm stuck with a zoomed in picture. The lower res is worth it. And I even set the sharpness to -15 anyway. More blur. Everything looks really good on it.No reason after nearly 20 years to get another TV.
>Under 100 inchesSilly. Why did you do that?
