They briefly has a resurgence with the first season, but it was carried hard by Viserys. The second season was just “rich bitches in castles bitching about other rich bitches in other castles”, with the exception of that one kind of cool “rider selection” scene. Beyond that, the whole thing was equal parts boring and stupid.

Didn’t even bother with Dunk. I’ve heard it’s good, but it is also based on an incomplete work that will never be finished, and I’m just kind of burned out by the Westeros setting at this point.

I haven’t genuinely and truly enjoyed anything GoT-related since S4 over a decade ago.

in my opinion it was by far the best of the three short stories
great characters in baelor, aerion, steely pate, raymun and I like that the show added more scenes with raymun, lyonel and ser arlan. the setting was pretty comfy too.
the flashback during the fight scene establishing a backstory for dunk was absolutely awful though, and all the dick/poop jokes were unnecessary
