I went to the touring Rick and Morty merch van thing that Adult Swim hosted during that era. I got there an hour early and the line wrapped around a convention center the size of a stadium twice. There were probably ten thousand fuckers there. This was in Dallas, TX in Spring 2017. It was absolutely the most popular animated media franchise on the planet for like at least a year.
