I thought the MCU was washed, but this movie was pure capekino

Never bothered with the third after the preachy faggotry of the second so I doubt that.

>First X-Men movie mocked the comic costumes and they wore black leather (2000)
>"What would you prefer? Yellow spandex?"
>Accurate Wolverine costume only appeared in a deleted scene in the Wolverine (2013) movie near the end in a box.
>Finally get an accurate costume in Deadpool vs Wolverine (2024).
>People act like this is some big epic moment, a costume.

How many X-Men fans died in the 24 years before Jackman was allowed to wear the costume? Fuck you
>>
>>220611559
Its the most fan-service marvel movie of all time.
Take that as you will.
>>
>>220611513
I really didnt like it, they would drop these nostalgia songs every five minutes and the script was mid
>>
>>220611513
So Marvel can actually do good costumes they just choose not to?
>>
>>220611680
You mean, they made a movie with stuff they knew I would want and like and they actually put those things in the movie? Wow, genius. What a groundbreaking concept!
>>
>>220611731
Marvel, all departments, can do a lot of things right, they just choose not to.
>>
>>220611580
I like the movie but I didn't think the costume was a big deal. I always agreed with the old movies making fun of cringe comic book stuff, that's what made the movies good. The scene where they kill all the deadpools was better

This. When i saw jackman in the yellow costume 10 year old me who wanted to see jubilee in 2000 who wanted to see cyclops be badass who wanted to see wolverine where the yellow costume... wad jumping for joy
>>

It was Ryan Reynolds own passion project and not some disney exec demanding more money
Look at mother fucking Blade, 100% pure respect
>>
>>220611826
>100% pure respect
I doubt that. If Snipes didnt respect him when they were making Blade 3, then what changed?
I imagine it was the perfect amount of money, considering Snipes movie career since leaving prison.
>>
>>220611826
Find out Blade was in the movie was what made me decide to see it, and he was literally just Blade as he was, no subversive garbage.

I can never figure what many cards are supposed to do in various tabletop card games.

this card for example, can someone explain what this card is supposed to do in practice? I mean I'm reading the text, but I still don't know what it's supposed to do. why would it be advantageous to remove one card? and which card? is it any card or just ones you control? like wtf
>>
>>220611678
>Fuck you
No, fuck you. Not my fault the producers of those films did that shit.
>>
>>220611790
The movie played it up as a big deal.
>>
>>220611795
Same for me. When I saw the 2000 movie, I liked it, but I asked where is Jubs, where is Gambit? At least I had one of those and in full costume.
>>
>>220611826
It's sad that Reynolds showed more respect for the characters that actual comic writers today.
>>
>>220611883
but hey you have 26 more years of Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen playing the same characters
Doomsday is going to be terrible

Veteran MtG and Yugioh player here.

Some decks have cards that activate from the graveyard. Others have effects that can burn based on how many cards are in the graveyard. You would have to build a deck around the ability but most games will have more efficient ways to dump into the GY.

I really liked it. People here just tend to throw the baby out with the bathwater and only talk in extremes, it's always all or nothing, some captain marvel thing was garbage so we have to pretend it all is. The Cassandra Nova silence scene was really cool in theaters, and to be honest I kinda wanted to have sex with Cassandra Nova even though she's bald.

GOOD. adapted material should service the fans, you fucking retard.
>>
>>220611750
It fucking feels like it is these days
>>
>>220611513
can we please go back to a few weeks ago when we consistently had zero capeshit threads
>>
>>220611513
It was pretty fun but I barely thought about it at all after watching it.
