>lost a hollywood career because he didn't want to learn how to drive and buy a car
He admitted recently that not being able to drive made a film career impossible and he said he didn't understand why he couldn't just mooch rides off people, he literally lost an entire career because of this. What a loser.

I love Atozy so much its unreal
>>
>>220614164
I really do think you should be made fun of if you don't have a driver's license shortly after your 16th birthday
>>
>>220614202
i didnt have a drivers loicense until I was thirty. Imagine paying the government for the privilege off getting taxed even more.
For all you zoomers and alphas get a square bitch, get a car and put the title and insurance under her name.

who gives a shit about all of the setup before you film?

If the entire crew is presumably driving out to set or location what's the actual problem with mooching rides? I don't get why this cost him a career

In America not having a car is considered a severe disability like being blind. You're just not fully a person
>>
>>220614634
Not being able to drive a car means you're retarded or extremely unmotivated
>>
>>220614164
literal fucking who?
This is the /tv/ board, what television or film has that faggot even participated on?
>>
>>220614655
Not having a car is not a big deal, some people are broke thats life, but not being able to drive an automatic goymobile is weirdo shit.
>>
It’s always weird meeting grown men, especially old men, who never had licenses or drove cars. My neighbour is like 65 and never drove, only his wife drives. When I sort of remarked with surprise he shrugged it off as if he just never wanted to drive. Which is bullshit. No one misses a social milestone and choose inconvenience and emasculation “just cause they never got around to it.”

I figure it’s a phobia and their cope is “I don’t care, bus and mooching rides is fine for me.” Really they have a pathological fear of driving.

Still, the slow mo dude is successful and if I remember correctly has a hot gif/wife so good for him. But no driving is just odd and signals a bigger issue.
>>
>>220614789
Yeah all this applies to me as a 34 year old who doesn’t drive. Phobia and pathological fear, yeah I guess you could say that.
>not driving is odd and signals a bigger issue
Absolutely yeah. I’m a complete loser in all parts of life and not driving is just another symptom in that.
>>220614714
>extremely unmotivated
Yep, also describes my life. Sigh. Pretty much just waiting to die now.
>>
what’s the phobia around driving? At least with planes I get not being in control of the vehicle + trapped in close proximity for hours with the public
>>
>>220615526
Zoomers and their anxiety. They cant even handle the tutorial mode otherwise known as driving in a first world country.
>>
>>220614789
For me it was just being the younger sibling that everyone babied. I didn’t have to learn because of that. If I have to go somewhere I just ask my brothers or gf (we all just live on my moms property) if they can take me and the answer usually is yes. Anywhere else that’s too far I just take an uber. After dropping out of college I just don’t want to learn new shit anymore, really. It’s not a fear.
>>
>>220614789
>No one misses a social milestone

The fact that you think getting a car or a driver’s license is somehow a significant social milestone is incredibly sad
>>
>>220614164
Why was it okay for Anya Taylor Joy not to know how to drive and have a career but not for this guy?
>>
>>220614789
this happened to a friend of mine. his dad never got his license and so he never got his either. his ability to get a job that isn't humiliating entry level trash is basically non-existent because he can't drive. he's slowly spiralling into depression because he's currently unemployed and all the guys in our main crew moved out of the city and bought houses in small towns that don't even have public transport running to them so he usually needs to get a lift from his parents to come out and see us. it's a humiliating and sad fate that he could have easily avoided, we've been pushing him to get it sorted out for over a decade. i am kind of worried he's going to rope one day.
>>
>>220615648
I dont fucking get it. Most of these no cars losers are avid gamers. If you can play Mario Kart you can drive a fucking car its that fucking easy.
>>
>>220615615
It's a big deal because then you can drive around on your own to do stuff, see friends, even get girlfriends. Big social milestone here, but I guess in shitholes it's not as important. Thanks for the global view
>>
>>220615699
Driving is the easy part. The hard part is keeping track of road signs, lanes, other cars, looking at mirrors, your speed knowing that you are always a split second away from disaster. Just on my driving school I had to deal with an ambulance in a narrow road with no parking space and some retard who was driving on the sidewalk. Then there is the occasional DUI guy, animal running into the street right in front of you, the asshole who rear ends you or bumps into your car in the parking lot making you wait an hour for the police to sort it out, flat tire, gas costs, insurance costs, washing the car... It's not all convenience.

>b-babe are you ready soon? We gotta be at the bus stop by 5:53
>>
i got a license at 27 and haven't driven a day since. i hate it, really. it's uncommon in my third world country to drive an automatic car (i learned and passed my exam on a manual), and i don't want to spend money to buy my own car because I want to buy a house first. my fiancee and my cousin both drive manuals, and I tried to get back into it, but I just can't. I suck at the clutch, the driving itself is the hard part for me, unlike what that anon said. the keeping my eyeballs peeled is fairly ok, but sometimes i full stop then forget to put it back into first gear then kill my engine and finally want to kill myself. it just sucks. unfortunately, we have the same american culture where if you don't drive, you are basically considered subhuman and treated like you have a disability. still, I'm not too worried, I got my fiancee and I live somewhere with public transport. whenever I visit my parents, my dad picks me up from the train station still
>>
>>220616064
>t. nocar loser
>>
>>220614249
Its a complete wonder you didnt get executed by the police for not stepping out for not having a license.
>>
>>220615615
if you grow up in the suburbs in the usual arrangement you can't really get it on with a girl unless you have a car. i guess it would be ok if you have some kind of stretched out house with your parents room miles away, or she has hippie parents who don't care or something.

Once you get really used to driving and you handle the car more or less automatically, you can easily spend your attention to your surroundings, like road signs and other drivers

That's true in the suburbs. Sucks not having a car there. But in the city not having a car is pretty normal. Would be weird if you didn't have a normal bike. Lots of scooters and it's crazy the variety of mechanical bikes and kick-scooters and skateboards and all that. Lot more fun down here

I never forgot Adam! he got lumped in with Ryan haywood, who is a piece of shit but not for nailing that fan. Its mind boggling how dorks with awful personalities make up big and then are giving a free pass to just be a cunt all the time. Its the Chevy chase syndrome. David dobrik is another, burnie burns is the most evident in roostertlteeth. Elise has some show on PBS doing quasi edutainment. She still streams with James but I have only seen a couple of videos. Alannah big tits are more frequently visited.

Geoff and Gavin started a game/podcast brand called Regulation, they make dudebro content for Gen Z/Millenials and old AH fans

The posts ITT are a fascinating insight into the American mind and just how far along Jewish programming has come. >>
>>220618166
It is a corporate plan to limit your freedom based on how much they can rip you off of. Most cities in america dont have good public transportation, no seats in the bus stop or even a roof to shade you from the sun and rain. It doesnt affect you if the weather is fine. You are a second class citizen if you dont have a car. If the cops catch you without your paper that says you paid the government they will imprison you in a dungeon and extort you for you safety. They will tow your car and charge you exorbitant fees to get it back so you lose it and they make money off your loss. The state makes these laws meant to dehumanize you.

See that’s what I meant in my post (>>220614789). It points to a bigger issue, in your case being babied to the point where you are un motivated, dropped out of college and at a young age have more or less thrown in the towel. It’s not just “yeah I’m a normal functioning man who just doesn’t have a license”. It never is.

>>220615615
How is it not? When you’re a teen you take driving lessons and do the test and suddenly your world expands with newfound autonomy, freedom and adult responsibilities. It’s certainly a rite of passage and if you miss this it’s a clear indicator that something is probably off. Most young men crave driving and all that it entails. If you don’t it’s not just some innocuous “nah I don’t feel like driving” thing it points to bigger issues at play. Lack of motivation, poor confidence, pathological fears, immaturity, unchecked anxiety, poor social skills, overbearing parents and so on.

No teen male with testosterone racing through his bloodstream says “nah I don’t want to drive, why bother?” FACT.
