Will Disney ever make Star Wars great again?
>>220614188No.
>>220614188Star wars died with ewoks.
>>220614188They had it for 10 years and made nothing but trash, it's safe to say they won't. And no redditors, Andor is not good.
>>220614188No it's actually impossible for them. Anything they do will have hundreds of grifting influencers screaming about how woke it is because that's what gets them clicks. The oldest fans probably still hate the prequels and never even tried any of the Disney stuff except the Sequels because it had the original actors in it. The Special Edition/Prequel fans they picked up in the late 90's hate the Sequels but enjoy the D+ shows. The more casual fans hate anything made by Disney after TLJ was released. And Disney really can't survive on the few hardcore ride and die fans they still have left. Not enough people are showing their kids Star Wars nowadays and so there's really not too many new fans coming into the series. And 8 episode event series every 1-3 years on a streaming service are NOT going to bring new fans in like The Clone Wars did. Starfighter will only do "okay" because of Ryan Gosling.

>>220614393Yes, and it always was. What are the Jedi but the Colonists in space?
>>220614188Yes.When the rerelease ANH next year. That's it.
>>220614416Space cops, forcibly taking children away from space lesbian witches

>>220614188>Creatively bankrupt!>*Loud exclamation declaring the acronym for a sexualy transmitted illness in all caps for a protracted amount of time*An imaginative person is going to have to start a new story, in another time, with new rules and new focus. The same-ol-same-ol stuff isn't capturing the audience. Take the formula that Lucas cobbled together from Dune, Joseph Campbell, and others and present something new in that universe. Andor is proof that this is possible.
how did they make them 4k when they only recorded in 1080p
>>220614719I still have that poster from Attack of the Clones. I bought it from a movie theater when it came out because I knew a guy that wanted to sell them. I gotta get that thing framed sometime. Say what you want about the film, but it is a bready gud poster.
No. And why should it? I just don't get why people seriously expect this thing that was good 50 years ago to just stick around and be good forever. I think it's weird. There are these three movies from the 70's and 80's and they were good movies. I watched them, I liked them, I might occasionally rewatch them or recommend them to someone else and think back of them fondly. But that's it. They were movies I enjoyed, now let me see other movies I'll enjoy. I don't need 100 years of stuff that iterates on something I liked.
The sequel trilogy may not have been consistently good movies, but they forced the fandom to confront how overinflated its expectations had become. The backlash revealed that a loud segment of fans had stopped treating Star Wars like entertainment and started treating it like sacred scripture that could never be reinterpreted or challenged. In that sense, the sequels were culturally useful because they exposed how much of the online discourse was dominated by the “reddit basedboy loser manchild” archetype that had built their entire identity around nostalgia and canon purity. Even the movies’ flaws became part of the lesson: a franchise that survives experimentation and controversy is healthier than one trapped forever in fan service and obsessive gatekeeping. Star Wars began as a fun space fantasy adventure, and the sequels unintentionally reminded everyone that no blockbuster series deserves the level of emotional collapse some fans displayed over it.
>>220614188Star Wars was great with Star Wars 1977 and Empire Strikes Back. That's it. Like the anon said here -->>220614231, Star Wars died with the Ewoks and it continuously went downhill from there. The prequels self-immolated with the inclusion of what is arguably the worst character ever put to film, Jar-Jar Binks. The sequels went maximum woke DEI ESG feminine-supremacy batshit crazy nonsense. Disney killed Star Wars. Star Wars is dead and dead. Only a handful of low-IQ, low-T incel millennials still care about Star Wars. Gen X couldn't care less about Star Wars. Gen Z thinks Star Wars is boomer slop. Gen Alpha doesn't even care about Star Wars because they think it's gay shit for unc, and because they are fully consumed by the Marvel Universe.

>>220614188How do they feel about white people?
>>220615192>you have the shits tastesGood morning saar
>>220614188even if they could or did, you'll never be happy
>>220614188That train left the station when it stopped being a trilogy.Bury that shit already
>>220614188>againThat's the part that's wrong with everything.
I'll be 50 this year, and loved The original trilogy as a kid and had all the og toy figures etc.I havn't cared about Star Wars since I was like 13yo, I hate everything about it, the shitty spin-offs, the mechandise, the overly-zealous fans, the churned out plastic tat filling landfills around the globe. I hate everything about it, just fuck off with it all.
