He probably did have heart surgery but is milking it in an obnoxious way. Probably rehearsed the crying. I watched the panel and the cast and Pino seemed so cold toward him and struggled to defend the movie. He was very inelegant towards Pino. I love him as a filmmaker and I love his dry/weird sense of humor but his narcissism is really off-putting.
