I thought it was the best episode of the season and a good finale. I disliked that Marie fucks off because Kripke didn't trust anyone to watch Gen V because I unironically liked her character and found her to be an excellent foil to Homelander; she could've incapacitated him using her blood powers and helped Ryan at the last minute. I also would like to know what happened to Cate and Sam, who were also good characters. I also disliked that Sage let herself be depowered; I unironically liked her character too, and found her very selfish in doing so. I didn't mind Deep's death but I wish he could've been reduced to nothing but a trainer at SeaWorld and eaten by an orca he wasn't aware had talked to the other ocean creatures. I liked that the truncated Butcher's edgy genocidal arc in the comics. Anthony Starr did an amazing job acting depowered, and Karl Urban did a great job bringing out the character's Special Forces history, and did a great death scene.I presume they're keeping Soldier Boy on ice because the prequel will have sequel scenes like Better Call Saul. Politically it makes no sense to have Blompflander shoot Musk into space considering the left was always up his ass about taking bribes from billionaires; isn't it a good thing Blompflander told one to fuck off and killed him?
