Is NTTD really the weakest of the Craig era?
>>
CR: kino
QOS: pure kino
BS (Blood Stone): kino
S: garbage
S: putrid garbage
NTTD: putrid garbage
>>
>>220619913
their motive of making no time to die is to criticize bond well known 'toxic masculinity' of being a playboy and turning him into a family man (with, of course, a daughter - its always a daughter) while ignoring the fact that bond character is what makes him james bond; everything else, the plot, action scenes, etc, comes after that motive.
They want to show people that the well-known and iconic character of james bond is actually not a gentleman, he's not cool, and his masculinity is toxic, and they close the entire film by weet ik-ing the lad with some missiles that supposedly killed him off
>>
>>220619913
It's the weakest of all Bond films in general.
>>
It might be the weakest but its not the worst. Id give that to spectre, then either this or quantum of solace (but that was mostly shit because of the writers strike)
>>
>>220619913
no that was Spectre
>>
>>220620030
>QoS was kino
LOL, absolutely not.
>>
Spectre was worse. But only by a slight margin. They're both hot liquid excrement. NttD just looked much better.

becoming a father and growing as a person is not weakness at all. A real man that matures will understand this. However, Having him die is actually ALSO a toxic masculinity thing but hollywood likes that one so they keep doing that (Nux in MM:FR also comes to mind) But i get it, they wanted to say that Bond was finally over and Im glad they did because it turned out they were not wrong. Amazon buying James Bond means hes fucking dead.

This movie hit differently with a daughter on the way. Otherwise it would've been quantum of solace tier.
>>
>>220619913
about the same as Spectre, nice ideas here and there but bad bad execution with lots of missed potential. QoS was actively hard to watch.
>>
>>220620440

>Amazon buying James Bond means hes fucking dead.
>UK/Europe/Australia: All literary works by Ian Fleming enter the public domain on January 1, 2035.

Brocolli knew this and made out like bandits with the billion or whatever they got for the property. Ideally, Amazon could pump out maybe 3 or 4 films before they permanently lose the monopoly on the character in every market that isn't the USA.

If Amazon doesn't remake the books as period adaptions this go around, and it's looking increasingly like they won't, the BBC or some other independent studio is likely going to starting in 2035. All the early books were HEAVILY anti-Russian, anti-Communist. It'll be great propaganda.

Craig's Casino Royale is a poor adaptation of the novel. American garbage. Fucking Texas hold 'em.
>>
>>220621226
Amazon can still claim to have the original Bond. And if the epigoni are as bad as Never Say Never Again they will have it easy.
>>

>argument not found

NTTD was an attempt at course correcting with all the comedy they tried squeezing into it and tried having more gadgets and just was the worst time to try that. I do not like the stupid mi6 group they saddled bond with in this movie I thought that after M died they wouldn't rely on that semi family dynamic

Oh it SHOWS anon

That cocksuckin' piece of shit Barbara Broccoli's boyfriend - I can't even say his name - murdered James Bond. And what did I do about it?
>>
>>220619913
Spectre is the worst by far and it’s surprising how well most of this one works overall given that it’s forced to follow up on so much of that one
>>
>>220620103
It's really weird that reactionary, right wing schizos who talk about how Jews subvert the family unit get angry that Bond has sex with a woman who gives birth to his child and then he dies to protect his family
>>
>>220619913
Casino and Quantum are the only good Bond movies from the Craig era, the rest are pure trash, But between NTTD and Spectre? yeah NTTD is easily the worst Craig Bond movie, pure irredeemable shit.

2026 and QoS still being one of the best /tv/ plebfilters, never gets old, if you want to find the most braindead faggot plebbitor, just ask what they think about QoS and how much they hate it, it's easy to spot them.

Bond had better girls pre Craig

Casino royale is the single best bond film ever made and skyfall is a solid 8/10. Spectre and NTTD are both mediocre but hold flashes of brilliances, and quantum is simply not very good.
>>
>>220619913
Weakest one is probably quantum, worst is spectr
>>
>>220622121
>Casino royale is the single best bond film ever made
So I can ignore all of your Bond related opinions, got it
>>
>>220620139
Someone hasn't seen octopussy
>>
>>220622587
Octopussy is incredible and the most underrated entry in the series. Anyone who thinks it's the worst Bond film is a fucking retard
>>
>>220622642
man shut the fuck up
>>
>>220619913
I never finished this movie lmao

Scyfall was good.

Casino Royale: Arguably the best Bond film ever
Quantum: Complete garbage who took all the wrong lessons from Casino and decided to make it "like Bourne", so the action is impossible to follow, the plot is razor thin and it lacks the humanity that made Casino so good
Skyfall: Utterly bizarre script. We saw two movies of young reckless Bond and now suddenly he's an aging old man who constantly gets told how old and useless he is. That said, in a vacuum, it's a great send-off to Judi Dench and did some good stuff in bringing back Q and Moneypenny
Spectre: Austin Powers brother twist and retconning Skyfall as part of a larger scheme are such bizarre decisions it's hard to take it seriously. The movie also has the looks and the energy of a Rolex commercial. Awful
No time to die: Craig is too old and bloated and he has 0 chemistry with Lea. The movie also retcons Spectre as the first part of this epic love story to rival OHMSS but again, no chemistry. One thing about it though is how obsessed the chuds were with the ideia that "Bond is being replaced by women!" when the subtext of the movie is that this old broken psycho is more useful, cool and humane than all of them

All in all, a terrible run as Bond, but Casino is so good that it kind of eclipses how shit all the rest is.
>>
>>220620445
Austin Powers made the people in charge afraid to make jokes, so they over-compensated and then Hollywood decided that men needed to be made into useless losers.
>>
>>220620367
Anyone over the age of 13 who thinks this is retarded. It’s the second best Craig film. Really only that and casino royale are good. The rest of them are basically just action movies about an OC who happened to be named James Bond .
>>
>>220619913
It was fine until they decided to kill Bond

I'm still mad we never got a sequel

Quantum of Solace is great, but only as the epilogue to Casino Royale. It fails as a stand alone movie but excels when viewed together with Casino.
>>
>>220619913
It's the worst in the series. Gets everything wrong and gives the middle finger to the audience.
>>
>>220619913
Probably Spectre. Honestly I think both are unfairly maligned though. They're definitely Craig's weakest, but they're both still decently fun Bond flicks and aren't as bad as the lowest points of the Moore era or something like Die Another Day.

>>
>>220623146
Wrong, Quantum is perfectly fine on its own and actually works better completely separated from the overrated and inferior Casino Royale. It's sweet and short (Craig's others are way too long) Bond is mean and cruel and much more like Book Bond than he was in Casino, it's action packed, follows the Bond formula pretty closely, and only has some editing issues that never particularly bothered me. It's frankly the only Daniel Craig Bond movie that I ever rewatch

Yeah. I honestly think Craig's Bond should've ended at Skyfall, and then it would've been remembered as solid movies from start to finish. Even more, I think Brosnan could've kept going and have Skyfall as his final film. It fits.

I only remember some parts of the first one because Eva Green was in it. What happens in the rest of them?
>>
>>220619913
No. Quantum is literally an unfinished mess from a writer strike and it makes no fucking sense. That one wins this by default. It's a horrible movie from beginning to end.
