I remember the trailers for this like it was yesterday, coming home from school. Try the guy version of the craft, the covenant. Never saw it but the trailer looked like it had some cool fx.
>>220620031Timothy Olyphant is kino
You really shouldn't worry about ratings for horror flicks anyway. Unless it's critically bad 3/10 shit.
Never here 2017 would be a perfect film for you.
Probably, the most black pilling thing about film today is that all the movies I scoffed at and thought were garbage in the 2010s are now pretty good compared to what we got now.Ironclad, Season of the Witch, Van Helsing ect all have ten times as much soul
>>220620213Already watched it in retrospect and enjoyed it. We really did judge to harshly in the past.
>>220620234All good solid films.
>>220620234>Ironclad, Season of the Witch, Van Helsingwtf, these are all good movies. Not every movie has to be some faggy art shit with a 2deep4u subtext message.Movies are idle entertainment, and those movies are entertaining. Also try solomon kane. That is good too.
>>220621655Last action hero perfectly encapsulates this idea but it manages to have a wholesome message.
>6-7/10 movie from 20 years ago is now considered a masterpiece next to 2 decades of shart wars marvelslop and remakes
With nail and I is a masterpiece or overrated?
>>220620031I remember dropping this pretty close to the beginning because it felt generic. Something about a guy with eyes gouged out or something felt like something I have seen genuinely 100 times before, so I got bored and turned it off.
Splinter is a small horror film that kept me entertained. It has the weed genius from road trip.
>>220620031final prayer has 5.8 on imdb and i think it deserves more
>>220620031Honestly and truthfully, the day you stop giving a shit about what other people have to say about movies and just go into them because they interest you and let it either be a good movie because you liked it or let it be a bad movie because you didn't like it. It'll be one of the most rewarding feelings that you'll ever have. The amount of movies that I decided to not watch back in the day when they came out because some people or a loud group of people we're completely dismissive of it and talk down about it that I didn't bother watching it and it wasn't until years if not decades later that I watched it. Just be a nice friend or be a nice lover that I found out that I should have watched that movie a long time ago. It was a good movie. I don't know what the reviews for crazies were. All I know is I saw that trailer that trailer was hype. I watched that movie. It was a good movie. Fuck what anybody else has to say about this movie if you like it. Good for you if you don't like it. Also good for you. It could be not for everybody. I just know. I like that movie and I'm going to watch it again soon. Thanks for reminding me that it exists
>>220622972Might've been decent if the cameraman didn't have cerebral palsy.

>>220623890the needed to hide the cheap special effects as much as possible, they didn't have the budget to have animatronics like the ones in the thing
