Most likely because of the music too as I am passionate about music, which invoke emotions in me and has since I was a child.I remember the story being grim dark at this ending being a sombre, religious or ethereal like ending. The ending has a similar vibe to the ending of the recent planet of the apes trilogy when ceaser dies. Just not spiritual in nature.
