RARE STRAIN THREAD YES! I watched it recently, it's a rollercoaster of styles and shit, going from crime drama to fallout new vegas to dracula. The relationship stuff kind of blows, but getting to see New York destroyed by vampires and then blown up is kino. Some of the stuff they show like the human meatgrinder, concentration camps, and infant blood harvesting programs kinda was more upsetting than most horror I have seen in a while. There is some shit sections but the good parts are really good.

I watched the pilot episode on the second or third time they ran it late on the night it premiered. I swear John Hurt played Setrakian in the version I saw and I was confused when he was played by a completely different guy the next week.
