>>220634592gen v will always be a mystery to me because the first season is better than anything post boys season 1. season 2 was weird tying it so closely to the boys mainline story and what they did with marie's powers and the godolkin endingi wonder what the fuck the plan was meant to be after season 2 with them working with starlight and then that ending. i assume they were going to work gen v into season 5 because gen v season 2 was filming when they started writing the boys season 5. they knew what was going to happen but then wrote gen v out completelythe boys season 5 finished filming while gen v was still airing, so it wasn't like a kneejerk decision based on no one watching it to delete them from the final season. they would have gone out from the start to make gen v completely irrelevant in season 5so then, the simplest conclusion you can make is that they knew a year or so beforehand that gen v was going to be canned and amazon wanted a new spinoff but they put out season 2 knowing full well it's completely irrelevant?
