Alright here's the story for the entire Mandalorian and Grogu movie:

Film starts out on an Ice planet. Some Imperial warlord is blackmailing local leaders for more protection money. Mando enters the scene and absolutely destroys everybody.
Imperial warlord escapes, hides in some AT-AT walkers. Mando enters the walkers absolutely kills everyone inside them. Warlord escapes again in a small spaceship, Mando shoots it down with the last remaining AT-AT walker and narrowly escapes an explosion.

Mando and Grogu get picked up by Zeb Orrelios and they fly back to the Rebel base. Zeb explains that Mando has to bring them in alive and Mando shrugs it off because "It got messy". You'll hear that a bunch of time during the film: "It got messy".

Mando meets Sigourney Weaver and she gives him a new target, some Imperial Warlord named Coin but they dont know where he is or what he looks like. In order to get that information Mando needs to do the Hutts favor.

Sigourney Weaver also gives Mando a brand new stock Razor Crest. Mando isnt thrilled about having to work for the Hutts but he takes a ship and goes to meet the Hutts known as "The Twins".

The Twins explain to Mando that they're looking for their dear cousin Rotta. Rotta is the son of Jabba the Hutt. Rotta is seemingly being held prisoner by Lord Janu on some moon.

So Mando and Grogu and Zeb fly to that moon to find Rotta. Theres a big city on that moon and its nighttime.
Mando goes to that little street food stand run by what looks like a monkey that you've seen in the trailer and asks the little guy for information. At first the monkey dude wants nothing to do with him but once mentions Rottas name, he's like pfff everybody knows Rotta, he's a fucking monster fighting in the arena.

So Mando and Grogu go to the arena and watch Rotta fight some nobody who promptly gets executed. After the fight Rotta is in a cell getting massaged by Robots. Mando talks to him and turns out Rotta is kind of an okay guy. Seems friendly enough. Rotta explains to Mando that he's not really a prisoner and that it was really hard growing up in Jabbas shadow. Fighting in the arena has made him "his own man" and the people love him now. Rotta reveals that he does owe a debt to Lord Janu but tomorrow will be his last fight and after that he is a free man and to top it off, he is rich now because he's won so many fights.

Then Mando and Grogu try to find Lord Janu in order to talk to him and negotiate Rottas freedom.
First they go back to the little street food stand with the monkey to ask him for directions again.
Little monkey directs them to some sort of salt bar because he has to pay protection money to Lord Janu and that is supposedly where they hang out.

Mando kicks everyones ass in the salt bar untill finally Lord Janu shows up and tells him to stop, invites him in for a talk. Mando explains to Lord Janu that he should free Rotta. Lord Janu declines and reveals that tomorrow Rotta will die in a "Dejarik fight". A Dejarik fight is where they keep on adding more and more foes until the champion finally dies.

Mando goes back to the arena where they're holding Rotta in order to warn him but Rotta betrays Mando and calls the guards from his cell. Gas is released and Mando becomes unconscious.

When Mando wakes up, all his weapons are gone, Grogu is in a cage and he has to enter the arena to fight against Rotta.

Mando defeats Rotta but doesn't kill him. Mando drops his weapons and says that he yields and that Rotta has won. Rotta now deserves his freedom but Lord Janu opens the gates and about 6 different monsters enter the arena.

Mando and Rotta team up and fight against all these monsters.
This sounds cool but was the low point of the movie for me.
The fight goes on for a while but the one of the creatures (the one that shoots electricity), gets thrown on to some laser barrier which shorts out the entire arena.

The monsters now attack all of the spectators, panic erupts and everyone flees. Mando and Rotta escape out on to the streets. Rotta grabs a speeder on his own and tries to flee on his own. Mando and Grogu pursue Rotta and finally catch him and load him onto the ship.

While on the ship, Rotta explains to Mando that The Twins want him dead. As the son of Jabba, he is the sole heir to the throne and thats why they want to get rid of him.
Mando says its none of his business because he needs the location of this imperial warlord Coin.
Rotta reveals that Lord Janu is actually Lord Janu Coin, the warlord Mando is looking for.

Rotta and Mando then decide to team up and Rotta leads them to some sort of Mansion on a beach where Lord Janu Coin is hiding out with a shit ton of stormtroopers.

Mando and Zeb attack the mansion, grab Lord Janu Coin and transport him to the ship in a speeder. Meanwhile Rotta and Grogu are waiting on the ship.
Mando calls them over radio, telling them to start the engines but Rotta doesn't even fit in the cockpit. Grogu tries to start the ship but only manages to fire off some stray rockets.

Mando Zeb and Lord Janu Coin manage to get on the Razor Crest and they fly off.
They bring Lord Janu Coin back to the Rebel Base. This is where Mando tells Sigourney Weaver that it got messy again and that he needs a break.

Based and correct, but I will defend Andor because despite being flawed it is the best of Disneywars and miles more faithful to the universe than anything else they've produced. It is slow, yes, but that's because it's telling a story from the perspective of someone who isn't at the centre of the universe like everything else under Disney. It's what Star Wars should have been, genre films and shows in Star Wars, Mando started off as a Western before devolving into slop, and Andor is a spy thriller/political drama, which admittedly isn't for everyone, but for the people who do like those kinds of shows it is excellent.

Okay so Mando apparently has a small little Cottage somewhere. Mando, Grogu and Rotta head there, you can also see Mandos Naboo Starfighter parked in the back somewhere.
Mando calls a ride for Rotta who promises to lay low for a while.
Then a team of Anzellans (the same race as Babu Frik) shows up to help Mando modify his Razor Crest. They work until nightfall.

It starts raining and the Anzellans together with Grogu head into the cottage and fall asleep. Mando is still up and working on the Razor Crest. Thats when he realizes someone is sneaking around his property. Its a bounty hunter and his dog.

Mando heads inside to warn Grogu and the Anzellans. Grogu and the Anzellans hide underneath the floorboards while Mando closes all the windows. The enemy bounty hunter jumps on top of the roof of the cottage. Mando signals for Grogu and the Anzellans to sneak outside while Mando blows up his roof. The enemy bounty hunter falls into Mandos cottage, deflects a few blaster shots with his helmet/hat and runs outside into the darkness. Mando follows him but runs into a trap that immobilizes him. One of the Anzellans gets captured by the bounty hunters dog.
The enemy bounty hunter calls his ship and he leaves with Mando, one of the Anzellans and his dog.

The Twins are aware of Mandalorian customs and do this on purpose. Mando tells them that its not an issue, as long as he kills all of them.

Meanwhile the Anzellans and Grogu are heading to a teeny tiny ship that belongs to the Anzellans, they follow the bounty hunter and land somewhere outside the Hutts palace in the jungle. The other Anzellan that was captured alongside Mando, he sees the small Anzellan ship and meets up with them in the jungle. Together they head into the Hutts palace through some drainage pipes. Their plan is to free Mando.

Back in the palace Mando gets thrown into the pit the Hutts have installed in front of their throne just like Jabba did it with Luke. The pit is filled with water is being attacked by two man sized aquatic creatures. He kills both of them and thinks he has won. The Twins look at him with disgust and tell him "Thanks for entertraining us". Thats when the giant white snake monster shows up as seen in the trailer. Mando finds some sort of sword like weapon and struggles with the snake.

The snake injures Mando and the Hutts say that the venom will kill him sooner or later. Thats when Grogu and the Anzellans show up, there's a little grating from where Grogu can watch the fight. Grogu attaches one of Mandos bombs to the grating, it explodes and they all flee together from The Twins palace

The Twins tell their droids to pursue Mando and to also release the Jamani, the Jamani are the same aquatic creatures that Mando had to fight in the pit before facing the big snake monster.
Mando, Grogu and the Anzellans successfully escape into the Jungle and they even make it to the teeny, tiny ship that the Anzellans brought and when Mando sees the ship he just stops dead in his tracks. I wish we could've seen his face because thats when he realizes that these little fuckers brought a ship which he cant fit into. Grogu doesnt get it at first and is like come on dude, get on the ship. And Mando tells him to get in and leave with the others.

The Anzellans and Grogu take off in the tiny ship and Mando turns around and faces the army of droids that are after him. He shoots a dozen or so of them and then finally the snake venom starts kicking in and he slowly starts collapsing. He collapses behind a few bushes and the droids just walk past him.

The forest notices that dead meat is on the ground and all the creepy crawlies come out of their hiding spots and star crawling on top of Mando, happy to feast on his flesh. One of the bigger ones is getting ready to crawl underneath Mandos helmet to finish him off for good and thats when Grogu suddenly shows up and eats some of the bugs and the rest fuck off.

This is where the film slows down considerably, it was a bit odd at first but I liked it after the first 5 minutes or so.
The film is so action packed that its really strange when it finally slows down

Mando is incapacitated on the ground and the first thing Grogu does is heal the wound Mando had from the snake fight. Grogu puts his hand on the wound it closes up. Force Healing ability unlocked. But the venom is still in Mando and he's still unconscious. So grogu covers Mando with more bushes because the droids are still looking for him.

It's Thursday night in my country, when all the uni students (18-24) have their 'Friday night' because they don't do shit on Friday. The movie is out and the showings are filling 1/3 of the seats. Maybe tomorrow, when the 45-50 year old office workers have actual Friday night, will be better. Though I keep hearing also that it's for 6 year olds. There's no holiday weekend in my country so maybe it will just flop

The problem with Star Wars (and Marvel) TV shows is that the writers just take a standard movie storyline and just stretch it over 8 episodes. The writers don't actually take advantage of the TV format and introduce more content and character development.

If you have 8 to 12 episodes then you should be able to add more content that you can't fit in a movie. But the writers are too stupid to realize this. So all we get are episodes where characters stare at each other extra long, react very slowly, and their IQ drops 50 points because you don't want them to solve the mystery too quickly.

On the 2nd day Grogu starts building a little wall of dirt around Mando and gets him more water. On the 3rd day Grogu has built a little mud hut around Mandos entire body and it resembles the mud hut that Yoda lived in on Dagobah.
The hut is too small to cover Mandos entire body and his feet are sticking outside, so Grogu decides to shove him further in with his Force Push ability but Mando hits his head on the wall like 3 times and they're doing this for comedic relief. It was funny but also really cheap.

During the 3rd night Grogu finds the hut of some fisherman alien, sneaks up and steals one of the fish. On the next night, Grogu decides to steal another fish but gets eaten by some froglike creature that lurks in the swamp. The alien fisherman sees this, shoots the froglike creature and rescues Grogu in the process.

The alien fisherman talks to Grogu and tells him "Oh you're the one who stole my fish", and gives him another fish because Grogu is just a tiny baby. Thats when the enemy bounty hunter and his dog show up. Grogu hides behind some equipment and the enemy bounty hunters dog almost catches Grogu because he caught his scent. When they're done talking, the alien fisherman lets Grogu know that the enemy bounty hunter is probably looking for Grogus partner. The alien fisherman is really impressed that they crossed the Hutts and have been escaping all this time. He also gathered from the conversation with the enemy bounty hunter that Grogus partner is poisoned with the snake venom, which is why he starts putting together all these herbs to make an antidote for Mando.
Grogu gets the antidote, goes back to Mando and gives it to him immediately. Grogu falls asleep and when he wakes up in the morning, Mand is back on his feet again.

Mando and Grogu decide right then and there that they're gonna go back in to the palace to free Rotta, who is a really cool guy. They find a crashed ship in the swamp which turns out to be the transport that Rotta took when he left Mandos cottage.

Mando does some McGyver shit on the ship and they get to flying.
Thats when Mando and Grogu literally 9/11 the Hutts palace. The palace is made out of some organic material similar to the surrounding trees from the jungle and thats why their crash is being somewhat feathered.

Their crashed ship ends up in some hallway and is being surrounded by the Hutts droids. Mando and Grogu disembark and destroy absolutely everyone.

I have to cut this short because I have to leave but we're also at the ending of the film.

The Twins are already shitting their pants and Mando thinks he has won but that is when the enemy bounty hunter and his dog surprise Mando.
So now Mando is busy fighting the enemy bounty hunter, Grogu frees Rotta, who in turn fights the twins.

The fight between Rotta and the Twins dislodges the trap door that leads to the pit, the Twins and Rotta all fall into the pit but Grogu saves Rotta with his Force powers and lifts him to safety. Meanwhile the Twins are shitting themselves while the snake swallows them whole.

Ultimately Mando, Grogu and Rotta win but the droid army is overwhelming the entire palace and our heroes have to flee and that is when the cavalry shows up. The Anzellans called in Sigourney Weaver who leads a squadron of X-Wings and Y-Wings and they save the day.

The END

OH MY GOD THANK YOU! Ive been saying this for years too. TESB is the most overrated movie in history. Its not a bad movie at all but its the weakest of the original three in the OT and is alot more boring then ANH or ROTJ

No shit retard, you obviously need a standalone movie before you create the sequel. Doesn't mean the sequel cannot be considered better or more interesting than the first. Empire explores more to do with the world building, the drama/conflict between characters, different characters (Yoda/Lando), different environments, more philosophical shit, an objectively better fight scene than the original movie, bigger budget/production, more competent director, etc.

Well, the Twins want Rotta dead because Rotta is the sole heir to Jabbas empire. The Twins are already in charge of the Hutt cartel but they dont want anyone to challenge their position.

Rotta owes a debt to Lord Janu which is why he is fighting in the arena. Rotta is a great fighter but instead of letting him go when his debt is paid off, Lord Janu plans to make a shitton of money by betting against Rotta in the arena.
Lord Janu is also in charge of the arena and therefore makes the rules of the fight. He's planning to surprise everyone with this Dejarik fight that will simply overwhelm Rotta.
Everyone loves Rotta as a fighter and everyone is betting on him to win. That was supposed to be the logic behind it.
