The saddest part of being blacklisted is that you simply cease to exist, apparently. After that gay italian Sal was fired for not being gay enough with Garner Jr., I don't think his name was mentioned a single time by the other characters, and he's not the only one.

That's because IRL Sal's actor said that the main writer's son that ruined every scene he was in can't act for shit, and the vindictive little jew wrote him out of the script. Any mentions of Sal in the later seasons would just bring more attention to the matter that he was written out out of pettiness not for the sake of the story.

Ironic since Sal's firing in the show due to not playing along mirrors his real life situation in a weird way.
