Please post your favorite alien movies that aren't action thrillers. I want paranormal drama.
Starting of course with the thread's titular film - The Fourth Kind.
>>220642123There aren't any that you haven't already heard of. No one that makes these movies cares about accuracy, just a quick buck.
Everyone's favorite cutie Jodie Foster making Contact.
>>220642163Be that as it may, I Want To Believe there is something out there that is interesting and new to me.
For the purpose of getting the thread going I'm also willing to let the definition of "alien movie" be a little loose. Space dramas with an alien element also count.
>>220642216I'm with you. I always ask in /hor/ and get the same reaponses; Communion, Fourth Kind, Fire in the Sky, Dark Skies. I've scoured Tubi and it's either found footage trash where nothing happens for an hour and then in the final 10 minutes there's flashing strobe lights and the camera spookily falls to the ground, or movies like No One Will Save You where the lmaos are just treated like retarded slasher villains. It's grim.

>>220642123I have two recommendations. >The Mothman PropheciesIt’s more high strangeness/extradimensional entity, but I find it deeply creepy.>DescendentI refuse to spoil anything about this one. It’s brand new.
>>220642123Dark skies is kino but shit ending
Mothman Prophecies is great and kind of qualifies
>>220642920Shit ending? Just because it wasn’t a happy ending? Bro dark skies is one of the most fucked up films I’ve seen and alien movies are my fave genre. >aliens stalk and torment families child entire movie then violently abduct him at the end and he’s just fucking gone forever.
>>220643040All I can remember from that film is when she slams her head into a window over and over and it's accidentally hilarious
>>220642184You mean scissoring?
