Just watched this with a Muslim chick I met online. Odd experience. What the hell was this even about? Best we could figure, it was some upper middle class girl left home alone while her parents went away, and she spends the whole time lonely making up fantastical shit in her head to pass the time, living in fantasy kind of like Anne of Green Gables does, except with more prurience and violence. Maybe the pearl and earrings were drugs. I dunno.
>>220644233It is not a puzzle movie.b t w muslim girls you meet online are all crazy about whitebois
I won't go on a watchlist for this movie?
>>220645262IDK how about your country but it's legal in Czech Republic
>>220645051It puzzled me.b t w I've met some like that, yes. Uncertain in this case.>>220645262There are brief titty shots, but nothing that a court of law would view as pornographic, and in most places it would be protected under gray area art laws.
If you've seen one movie that uses the supernatural as a metaphor for puberty and the loss of childhood innocence you've seen them all.
>>220645610Female puberty is especially appropriately depicted with the supernatural as its metaphor. The sexuality of a young girl strikes deep fascination and fear in me. I both wish to own it, and to let it be free, and this conflict is passionate and tragic and beautiful.
>>220644233did you fug at the end?
>>220645697No, she lives on the other side of the planet. Just good company.
